WHO WE ARE
OF THE WAY offers a positive mentorship to children who have suffered the loss of a parent as they matriculate towards young adulthood. We seek to cultivate their interests, passions, and gifts and assist children to use them to accomplish tangible goals by program completion.
MENTORSHIP PROGRAM
Mentees will receive one-on-one mentorship from a mentor with substantial positive life experience. Mentors use time, resources, and influence to positively demonstrate how a contributing member of society navigates the ebbs and flows of everyday life, leading to the acceleration of development of the mentee. Mentors and mentees commit to regular meetings and engage in intentionally selected STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathmatics) based activities to achieve this goal.
