MEET THE TEAM

Mark Newton serves as secretary. He has a passion for giving back to his community and bridge building. Mark has held positions in finance and logistical planning. He currently serves as a youth football coach and volunteers in various events in the local community. He also has experience in directing pageants, coordinating a Scholarship Ball, and coordinating various community events. Mark obtained his B.S. in Sports Science and Fitness Management with a concentration in Business Administration from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and his MBA from Liberty University. His favorite bible verse is Proverbs 3:5. And fully believes that he is nothing nor will he ever be anything without God.

Dominique Sanders serves the treasurer. Dominique brings immense passion, talent, and insight to youth mentoring from her years of organizing and empowering communities on issues that matter to them. Dominique is currently at an Environmental Science Advocacy nonprofit where she leads issue based campaigns for real world change. Dominique comes from North Carolina, where she gained a B.A. in political science at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. She is a MPA candidate at Cornell University class of 2026.

Cameron Ward serves as the vice president. Over the years Cameron has been intentional about adding value to the community and being an example of servant leadership. For the last nine years he has leveraged his passion for youth development through after school tutoring, serving in the young adult ministry at church, and speaking at local high schools about his professional experience. In addition to his desire to empower the youth, Cameron has a background in Electrical Engineering graduating with his B.S. from North Carolina A&T. He now works as Project Manager and operates an online marketing business.

Joseph Williams II serves as the president. Joseph has always been passionate about giving back to his community by way of mentorship. He began mentoring early on after high school in the form of coaching. Once attuned to college life he began mentoring underclassmen through an on-campus program. He has mentored youth for over a decade through various formal and informal mentorship programs. Joseph uses his vast knowledge of mentoring to enhance the effectiveness of the mentorship Of The Way provides. Joseph graduated from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University a B.A. in Psychology and from California State University LA with a M.S. in Forensic Psychology.
